will a 87 transmission work on a 92?
it would bolt up, but why do you want to put a piece of junk tranny on the car? the DOHC engine will tear that 15 yr old tranny to bits in a matter of days.
plus you'd have to change axles, spindles, carried bearing mount, lots of other stuff.
it'd be cheaper and easier to fix/replace the DOHC tranny with the same thing.
