gas milage like david98max's question...only not

Ok so a friend of mine has the least expensive version of the '93 (or close to it) CRX - - yea yea he knows it was a bad descion- - but he has a ''fuel saver system' on his car - he gets a good 45-50 miles per gallon - now i know it is in part cause he has a four-banger and his car is light but beacuse i can't get a hold of him on the old phone i was wondering what kind of systems could massivly save fuel? That was the longest run on sentnece known to man or women. Wow.

Fuel Savor... An engine is only so efficient, beyond a certian point it has to obey the laws of thermodynamics. You probably already said it, a tin can car with a tiny 4 banger.

I think Mercedees is working on a system that shuts off a cylindar or two. However bottom line is you still need the same amount of power to overcome friction and wind drag.
