Bose radio problem

Bose radio problem

hi,
is there anyone change their Bose head unit?
if so, i have some question for u. ^_^
if i change the Bose head unit, can i still use their the bose speaker with their amp? i hv a sony cassette deck with the changer.
so i really want to put them on.

yes you can, but you wont be needing the bose amps anymore since the deck has an amp of its own. The bose deck is not amplified thus requiring 4 separate amps at each speaker. The aftermarket deck has an amp inside it so you wont need the bose amps anymore. Heres a few pics i threw together that shows what to do for the rear 6x9s; but the procedure is the same for the fronts:

this is the setup with the new deck & new 6x9 (or bose 6x9 which ever speaker you put in there) so you wont be needing the amp anymore:

if you cant read the 2nd pic, thanks to the cardomain logo

"now in here, only 2 wires are being used, the ones running to the new 6x9...the 2 wires that operated the amp are just dead wires now"
