Drill out the other 2 holes so you can get all 4 lined up. It is most likely just aluminum.

Same here. Just tighten the screws really good and you should be all set.

Just remember that there are 4 screws in there for a reason. 2 may seem to work fine but you could be sucking in dirt from that opening and over time... you can fill the rest...

You should be able to turn the adapter and drill out new holes for it to fit. You got one for a 4 cyl. engine. They don't specify because they're dumb, but that's what happened. I've seen it several times.

Same thing happened here. All I did was turn the adapter diagnally and screwed them into the bottom left and upper right hole. It was perfect. I've checked it every other week for the past couple o'months and its still there. Never had to tighten once.

my advice would be to get one from Cattman or lightningmotorsports.com...they will cost about $25-30, but they are the REAL Nissan MAF adapters!!

I'd just get it from Cattman, but if you go with Lightning MP, I think the "type M" is what you want. most of those Ebay Nissan MAF adapters are for the 4-cyl models which I think have a different bolt pattern("type N").

whoa big guy...he didn't mean anything bad. IF it wasn't sealed right, dust and other crap can get in and possibly damage your MAF and the insides of your engine. don't want that now do we? He just wanna point that out to ya. no hard feelins

I'm sick of his ****. I know about the dangers. My methods are different, but it works better than the other alternatives. I'm not dumb enough to risk exposing one side of my adapter to dust (no offense to those who have). Da-Max needs to stop picking on me cause if I ever meet him in person.

FYI as you learn the way this site works you will understand that no one here means is here to bash you. They may say things that if you take it the wrong way could seem harsh but they are not. There is alot of experience with trial and error here. It doesn't necessary mean that your way is wrong, but different than the norm, if it works, more power to you but be prepared to be picked on a bit, especially when you have a newbie rating.
Just the way of the Forrum dude
No hard feelings.
