$20 million dollar question (to be paid on Tuesday)

I have a '92 SE. The stock "finisher" on the deck lid is the usual...red reflector from tail light to tail light and clear reflector from reverse light to reverse light with 'Maxima' engraved on the clear section. I was given part #84810-6e100-se for this part.

I want to replace the stock finisher with a GXE finisher that is BLACK (instead of red) from tail light to tail light (and has Maxima engraved on the black reflector). At least I believe I've seen this 'black' finisher on a GXE.

Is this true? If it is, does anyone know a part #?

No, the car is an SE model with the red finisher. Since the car is black - I think it would look better with the black or tinted finisher from a GXE.

The black center section you are talking about is from the 89-91 SE.

the black one wont match exactly unless you change the taillights with it.
the black ones came on 89- 91 Se models,
all gxes had red but the design was changed in 92

89-91 SE tails have a very thin eyelid sorta thing going on at the top that won't mesh right with the 92-94s. You could go for it... but it won't turn out right...

If you really want one, I've got one from a 90 SE. PM me...
