Just browsing the Stillen catalog...

Seems they think this is what you can do to a 92-94 SE

High Flow Stillen Intake +6hp
Exhaust +8hp
Computer +9hp
(they have some eprom computer, I have never heard of it, personally, I would go with JWT)
Igntion Upgrage +4hp
(This is what I wonder about, has anyone heard of this?
http://www.stillen.com/sportscars_de...id=4413&page=3
I found it on the site. I am a little leary, but just wonder if it would help any?
Alluminum Flywheel +6hp ??? haha
Extrude Hone Intake +10hp
(I would really like to do this, I think it would add power, maybe not 10, but maybe 6-8hp.
Nitrous Oxide +50-75hp.

What do you guys think of the ignition system?

Also, I wonder why they would advertise extrude hone??

Err I was always under the impression that aftermarket ignition stuff only benefitted cars with distributers (ie not the VE)...

I too have been wondering about that Eprom

no because all an ignition box does is amplify the coil output or change the type of spark (ala msd--multiple spark) so it should work with our cars but it would have to amplify all of the coils.

hmmm...so it should work, and it is designated for our cars.

MSD has had a DIS ignition system out for a few years. 1max2nv has been using an HKS system on his 4th gen for a while, it will work, but will the gains be worthwhile on a bolt-on car, IMO I doubt it.

BTW to my knowledge the Eprom they carry is just a JWT re-sell.

what he said. there are ignition systems out there for distributorless ignitions (the DIS systems are just one).. Jacobs has one, MSD, Mallory, etc etc.
doubt they'd do much on an NA car unless it was highly modified otherwise.

I was thinking that same thing, D.... because I look at that list and think, an ignition upgrade for $562.50??

Isn't JWT or MSD's ignition module cheaper???

I think it goes for $550.00 when you ship in your ECU, if you need them to ship you an ECU then they charge you a $600.00 core charge on top of the $550.00 which is $1150.00 on your credit card until they get your ECU. Not sure how exact I am on the prices but you should call and find out for us.
