92 se ignition coils

92 se ignition coils

hey how do u replace the ignition coils on a 92 se
when i went to do a tune up they told me the coils are not the same as other cars and they dont get replaced. those of u with se models do you know how it is done or if it is done at all?

1. grab a 10mm socket and ratchet.
2. head for the engine.
3. remove the 10mm bolts from the tops of the ignition coils.
4. unplug the coils from the wiring harness.
5. remove the coils from the engine.
6. replace with new.
7. do 1-4 backwards to put it all back together.

You forgot the most important instruction which belongs BEFORE your step 1.

New Step One... Return from dealership with 6 new $60 each coils.
