Any one near Woodbury, Long Isand, NewYork

Hi...
I am sure some of maxima.org members live in Long Island.
I live in Michigan.. that is 600 miles from long island....

Any way coming to point.. I am planning to bid on a maxima on ebay. The maxima is at Woodbury newyork..

It looks good on pics... but who knows the condition.. this is where I need your help badly.
I know it is much beyond favors.. so I can pay for it. Could any one check this car out for me..?

If you are mechanically inclined you check it out your self.. if not get it to near by shop and have it inspected..

But the tough part you have to do it tomorrow..?Yeah by tomorrow...!!!

I can give you further details if you can do it..
Please let me know.. I really appreciate your help

Damn your going to drive 600 miles to buy a maxima?

To be honest I'm 25 minutes away from woodbury. If the maxima is really nice, then its gonna get sold real fast. Its a little too short a notice for me to go over there for you. Personally I think you should wait a little longer till one shows up in your area.

They're out there, just be patient

Indeed it would suck to come all way down just find out that the car is a P.O.S. Just be patient like Eric said or try to get a hold of the owner of the car and talk to him and explain your situation to him and that you don't feel like driving 600 miles for nothing. Maybe if the seller is honest he will tell you all the problems.

I went there, man the service is terrible, sales people look right at you but dont even pause their conversations to ask if they could help, then they act like they have no idea what you are talking about, I wont be buying my Ferrari from them, thats for sure.

OK.. I heard you...

I think I am going reconsider my decision based on your posts...

But if I look at the photos it is hard to resist...
take a look

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6400

Looks really neat..

I guess it is worth while to listen fellow maxima member than some one....

I appreciate your inputs... (as always)

I bought my 92 SE 5 spd on eBay WAY under value. Got it for $1476. I live in TN and the car was in Hartford, CT. That's 1100 miles. I drove the car home. When you see a deal sometimes you just need to do it.

But then I'm mechanically inclined and enjot working on my cars...

besides the fact that the auction ended at almosy 5g, way too much to pay for an ebay car, pricey for a maxima in general though
