when i fill up my tank i have a noticable gas scent left in the car... unidentifiable origion... but i do lose bout a cup of gas if i fill to the brim... is this a recall problem.. or do i just need to fix up the tank?

where do you live?

there IS a recall on the filler tube area on our cars for people who live in the northern states where body rust is a problem. turns out there wasn't enough undercoating sprayed on in the car and they have a tendency to rust around the fuel filler tube. look around in your wheel well for rust or leakage or other kinds of problems like that.

just go to a nissan dealership and ask them to run the VIN number to see if it has been fixed for the recall...if it hasn't than they'll do it for you for free they would need it overnight...
