If you've got a VG (the 91s all have VGs).. then the V6 3000 is printed on your intake manifold and your valve covers are painted red.

If you've got a VE, then the V6 3000 is a small red plate on your front valve cover, and your intake manifold doesn't say anything on it.

This is my old VG:

oh btw.. looked at your page.. Before you spend any time of money painting the valve cover, PLEASE buy new hood struts!

LOL!! I just noticed there was no battery in that pic!

the manifold took me a full weekend to do, working mostly by hand. it actually doesn't look THAT nice in the daytime, but it's still not bad. I forgot who I sold it to after I parted the car out, but someone on the board has it.

Did you polish/wax the paint in your engine bay?

auto parts stores. it's kinda hard on the hoses and stuff, but for a show car it makes everything reaaaly shiny. also collects dirt like you wouldn't believe- worse than armor all.

ok so i am not sure what ur answer was. the intake manifold says nissan and V6 3000, then in front of that is the throttle body, and in front/below of that is the lower intake manifold then next to that the intake pipe?

if someone can label that picture above here would be great and a lot of help? is that a picture of the polished stuff or just a clean engine bay cant really see well. does anyone have a picture of polished/chromed manifold thing?

that one is partly polished. it's not chromed, but polished.

Yeah right man!! Matt's engine bay in that pic has got to be one of the nicest engine bay's I've ever seen!! You might want to rephrase that into saying, " Goodness VG's are nice! " There, that sounds a lot better!

A bit biased much??? Besides, you can't compare, they're night and day. Not to mention a DE VG pulls 30 more HP than a VE sooo... on a level playing feild, the VG is better...

Oh, and yeah, I steam cleaned my engine before and coated it with that silicone spray. Made it nice and shiny... for like... 5 days... then the dust in Vegas got to it and there's a lovely coating of brown on it.

that's why you hose down the engine bay once every week or so, and it stays clean.
