For those that were interested in changing the GXE gauge lights
For those that were interested in changing the GXE gauge lights
I had stated a while back that the actually back of the gauge of the GXE gauges were green and if you wanted to change the color I thought that maybe you could scrape the green off. Well I was wrong...I was digging through my storage shed the other day and found my old GXE gauges I had and noticed that since they were in a box with a bunch of other stuff that the face of them had been scraped. What I found out is the whole gauge is green with gauges painted on over it.
so long story short you cant scrape off the green so if you want to change the color just go with SE or indiglo gauges.
Some may already know this but figured I would share since I just found out and know some were interested in it.

what year gxe gauges do you have?? my 91 gxe gauges didn't have any green colored plastic at all, it was the green condom things on the lights that made mine green...
These are the gxe gauges now (but in my se)
