why are there two different numbers for the keyless entry code on the door and y wontit unlock?

you mean like on one key it has 1|2 then 3|4 and so on? It is like that so if you want you number to be 2468 then the 2 will be the 1|2 button and so on.

if you dont have the right number it will not unlock. Go the the faqs or search for where to find the numbers for you to program the keypad to your own number and then it should unlock after you program it and put the correct number in.

read your owners manual if you have it to learn how to program it and how to use its features.
