Brake Indicator Light

I have looked through my Chiltons to find out what is going on. Here's my issue. My brake indicator light comes on. Emergency brake is not engaged. Also i noticed that when the light is lit and I accellerate from a dead stop it will go out.

Thanks.

Re: Brake Indicator Light

There is a connector that connects the indicator light to the hand brake. Take off the center console. The Chilton's manual will tell you how. Look at the base of the hand brake. Check to make sure that the connector is not loose.

Yup I think this is your problem. Brake fluid is low and you need them to be serviced.
