CAI install question

So I finally got around to buying the two replacement rubber couplings i needed for my wsp cai (3"). I remember when i first installed it, it took me 45 minutes just to put on the couplings. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make them slip on easier. I had to cut my old ones at the ends so that it would be a little bigger to slip on, but im sure some air escaped when i did that. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions for an easy replacement. Thanks.

Rubbing alcohol

Try using a little rubbing alcohol on the outside of the piping.

use a little bit of soapy water on the inside of the rubber coupling to help it slide on easier
