Struts and Shocks for 91 GXE

Hi,

I have a 91 GXE with 350k on it. The car is entirely stock except, FSTB, clear corners and audio mods.

My mechanic has recommend that i change the 4 struts, especially the back ones - the two at the front - sansatronic?? struts still look new - i have put about 100k on them.

The car also makes a clunky noise when i make turns. Besides, the car is also cushy and bouncy.

What struts do you recommend? I would like a strut that is better than regular stock, and give my car a firmer rideI don't do drag racing - I'd like to try KYB GR-2 struts? Would this suffice?

Thanks in advance for your feedback - Noela

Noela - first of all welcome! I'd recommend KYB if you're price-conscious. There's a group buy going on right now in the "group buy" forums you might wanna check out if you're looking to get a bargain. Tokico's are a definate plus to get, but are a bit more expensive. Koni is too, if I'm not mistaken.

And as for that clunky noise when you make turns, you also might wanna consider getting your CV boots/joints checked as well.
