Clunking sound in r/rear suspension?

I can push on the car and get it rocking and it doesnt make the sound, only when driving. Its like it happens when the suspension is is on rebound or after the wheel is moving back down into place after a bump. Kind of sounds like the wheel is loose but its not. I had put an addco sway bar on but I dont think that is it. Is it some sort of bushing in the strut area or the strut itself. The struts are orginal and have 182k miles on them but they dont "bounce" after you rock the car. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks guys.

Ok, thats what I thought. I just saw a post on a pretty good deal for the KYB GR2 shocks. Do the bushings come with the shocks or do you have to get them from the stealer or napa/autozone?

Thanks for the quick reply!

tower plates with bushings are seperate and run about $50. You can not tell if the plates are bad until the car is torn apart so my advice is to buy them and return if not needed. BTW, make sure you replace all four struts.

get the strut tower plates from napa or autozone. After giving it some more thought, I believe the other members were talking about the sway bar bushings maybe they can correct me if I am wrong. Again, you can get these at Napa or Autozone. Good luck, my guess is your struts are just bad and knock when hitting bumps b/c they have no fliud left in them.
