89se electrical problems

Starting about three weeks ago the seat belt light/sound would intermittently come on while driving for no reason, about the same time my clock would fade out for no reason at all, it (the clock) gave out after about a week of this. Then this morning after work, the the car would not start, even with a jump. I got it going by coasting down a hill and letting the clutch out. After that the clock started again!
I dont think that it is the starter, for some reason I have a feeling that the anti-theft system wouldnt let it start (it started flashing and staying on this morning). does anyone have any insights as to what could be happening? thanks, David.

Check your alternator sounds kinda like you are driving on the battery power. I had another car do weird things like that. Also check for a loose wiere in where the foot pedals are. JMO
Good luck.

thanks for the feedback, couldnt find any loose wires by the pedals. When I turn the key all of the accessories come on like normal but when I try to start it, I just hear an initial click and that is all that I get.
