need advice on new maxima

ive been in the lookout for a new maxima, because my old one was involved in a fatal boat accident. =/

i used to have a 93 SE auto, cream color with every option possible...so is very tough for me to shell out 2 grand over the next 3 years while downgrading myself at the same time.

right now im checking out a 93 gxe auto with 160,000 miles. no leather =(, but its got everything else. the only problems with it is that one of the rear speakers doesnt work and the right passenger seat cannot move back and forth. other than that tho, the car seems to be in perfect shape.

i did notice some torque steering i believe, and i was wondering if torque sterring was noticed often with VG's. they're asking 3200 for it, and i might talk them down more, considering the repair costs that may be needed. advice is greatly appreciated!

p.s. ive been without a car for almost a month....thus, im getting depserate. and i have 4.1k to work with.

VGs are notorious for torque steer... it's pretty fun when you know how to live with it... what did you do with the old SE??? $3.2k sounds a little much for the GXE... but I don't know. I got my Max for $1.5k...

Not what was it... but what is it (she's still alive and kickin'). '89 SE black on black cloth 5 speed. Shes in the shop right now for paint and a teensy bit of body work along with a few little extras... I'm pulling off the spoiler tho since its completely rotted out. And since some @sshole in an SUV/truck decided to mess up my new hood at a parking lot without leaving a note or anything , I ran out of cash for a new spoiler. I'm just gonna put one on later.

well...sure..3200 would be too much for what they're asking....but i plan on talking them down once i get an estimate on the repair costs..hopefully i can push 2500. these people should know how this sort of stuff is done. expect to get your price lowered if your car needs friggin work.
