PopCharger...Remove Box?

I've seen different set ups w/ pop chargers. NON-CAI. and I was wondering if there's a differnce of having the stock air box bottom part there.

If I should take it off...how?

I just took some heavy duty wire cutters and cut the hell out of it. I really didn't see any point in it being there and it got in my way, so, I just took mine right out.

its a major pain. don't bother unscrewing the two screws at the bottom. They don't come off. Just take a knife or scissors and pliers. pull out the rubber ring around the screw on the bottom of the air box and cut it off. do that to the other one as well. with a little strength try to slide the airbox out of its place. You'll know what I mean. After a few sweaty minutes of pulling and shaking. It should come out. If there's an easier way, I'd love to know for future reference. good luck

For future reference... they do... just not easily. And it isn't hard, just very tedious. You just have to know what you're doing.

you can use a small wrench from the bottom. it takes a while and helps to have small hands. i took mine out and then put it back in so that the cone could have something to rest in. go figure.
