How do I remove the adhesive strips under the door moldings?

I want to remove the bumper strip moldings on my doors with a heat gun but I don't know what to use to take the excess glue off without hurting the paint or clear coat. Any suggestions?

One of the guys here used to rave about a product called "Sticker Shock" which is designed to help 24 year olds "de-16 year old" their cars by removing all the stickers . Check it out.

you guys know the tool that they use to burn designs into wood, well my friends dad had a razor blade welded to it. When plugged in, the razor blade got really hot. A little degreaser and it was like shaving my face. Very easy. Took a few minutes.

Ok, fellas I think I'm going to take a wack at this tomorrow, also. I think I saw a post a while back saying that a regular hairdrier would also work rather than a heating gun. Is this correct? I don't have a heating gun, does anyone know of any other methods of removing this molding. Thanx
