BMW headlights?? flush

For the flush mount beamer lights do you have to remove the factory bmw lenses or do you just mount the covers over them?
And how hard is it to install angel eyes?
thanks,
Dave

It's not that hard, Dave. You wanna do it while you've got everything disassembled, however. I've done mine, and it's really time-consuming, but easy to do.

Funny you ask. I actually DO have pics of the install, but I'm in the process of reformatting my HD. But rest easy, because I've got 'em burned on a CD at home. Give me a day or two, and I'll reload all my crap on the computer and probably post 'em on my website.

Awesome, can you send me a pm once you have them up, i'd really appreciate it. Also with the flush bmw mount, do you have to use a silicone or something to attach the covers to the headlights in place of the bmw lenses or do they just sit over them? Sorry i'm still a little confused about this. awsm66 help! where are you?!

Just buy Euro spec lights if you don't already have a pair of E36 lights. The glass cover pops right off, and it's what the Angel Eye kits are made for. If you already have US spec lights and have pulled the cover off then yes, I would imagine you would want to put some silicone to seal it up nice and tight. You don't want moisture getting in there.

thanks. I originally put it over the factory e36 lens. It looked alright but stuck out some. I just cut the factory lens off since I knew I wasnt going to put them back on but some may not be able to do that because of inspections in their state.

I am pretty sure that I showed them to you when you pmed or emailed me but if I didnt then here you go:

The problem with this is that you have to set the lights pretty far back (a little farther back than normal) and you can still see the factory lens behind there. The plus side of it is that you can probably still pass inspection and dont have to worry about moisture getting in.
