Please help. I have a 1994 GXE with the VG engine. When it rains, my car stalls out. On a clear day, or even when it's cloudy, the car drives like new. I love this car, but the fact of the matter is, when it rains, I have to drive my wife's 99 Accord. Someone told me a full tune up may alleviate the problem. Another guy told me that it could be one of MANY sensors! Please help....

another guy (me) told you to check your spark plug wires. sometimes if they're old, they'll get testy when it's damp out.

 

ONe think you might want to try to test your ignition wires is to spray them down with a spray bottle. If you are lucky, you may even notice arching from the wires.

you need a tune up, change your distributor cap and wires
