What is the best price anyone has paid for new Koni struts? I got a quote of $520.80 from shox.com for a set of four. If anyone has found them cheaper please let me know the price and the company or website that you saw them at.

they're about the same everywhere. I bought one (to replace one I destroyed) last week from Tirerack for $131. when you buy 4, that's $524.

 

How did you destroy one of your Koni's? I thought Koni's were supposed to be the best and last the life of the car. Was it just a freak incident or what?

Also what springs do you have installed and what setting do you have the strut set at? Do you have a camber kit installed/ have you had any problems with uneven tire wear?

the strut was bottomed out on a $hitty tulsa road. If the shock isn't covered under warranty, then I'm going to send the claim to the city to pay for it, because it was caused by a bump in the road that has been there for years.... obviously neglect of road maintenance on the city's fault..

(this bump is the size of a speed bump right at the end of an entrance ramp with VERY little acceleration room, so you must run over it, or get your car smashed by oncoming traffic.)
