Ok guys sorry to be nosy but izzy if its your car why isnt it at your house? I know if I went and got a new max it would be in my driveway and not someone elses. I mean no disrespect but am just curious...if you dont want to answer no biggie since its none of my business anyway lol.

I do love the car though...very nice find.

Because the car wasnt registered I had to use dealer plates to ge the car back to NY from Mass. I was the only one who was supposed to be driving with the plate so Izzy couldnt, meaning we had to take his car up there, and I had to drive the VE back with the dealer plates, plus Izzy is a good freind and he knows I wouldnt do anything to his car that I wouldnt do to mine. Also Izzy had work at 1pm and he didnt have time to drive me from NYC back to LI after we dropped off the VE at his place, plus he cant park it on the street since it isnt registered, so I just drove it home and parked it at my house where the car is safe and will be there untill he transfers the insurance over, and registeres the VE (soon) I can show you the tittle with his name on it if you want.

I didnt mean it like that (I didnt doubt that it was his) I was just wandering why thats all but it makes perfect sense to me now.

Just not used to people doing it the right way. When I picked mine up in DC the guy just left his plates on there which were NJ plates. I didnt have any problems until I got to Alabama and got pulled over because of the broken tail lamp (I got it wrecked for those that dont know) and the tag was only held on by one screw because the guy broke the other one lol. He didnt give me much hassle but did search the car to make sure I wasnt smuggling drugs.

Oh well it is better to do it the right way but most of the time cops will not care if you dont have a tag on as long as you got a bill of sale and the title signed over...of course yall do things a lot different up north and the laws are probably not as lenient as they are around here. I drove around for a couple months without a tag on my 92 because I was waiting on the guy to get the title to me since he lost it and had to get a new one issued and then signed over to me. I never got pulled over but had a new bill of sale with the date changed every other week so it wouldnt go past the 14 days they give you to get a tag.

Yes, its ok to inquire about the transportation of the max. Legally in nyc you cannot drive a car with out it being registered and have insurance for the car. Right know i am lil strapped for cash since i just baught her, need to sell my gxe with any offer i can get.I have to go to the insurance co and get the insurance changed, then to the dmv with the title and bill of sale to register it and have it inspected. So right now the only place i can leave it is at Jason's house. Which is fine by me, he is doing me a favor, and is a great friend. Its hard to find friends like that. But the main thing is that the SE is safe, I own it. Just worried about the nyc potholes, and parking. Where everyone hits the shiet out of your car and dont give a shiet about other peoples property.
Guys for those attending the June 14th meet in NJ, this Maxima will be there.
I have no problem driving stick. I drove the maxima around for 15 minutes with the previous owner, I told him that i always have problems in 1st, but this maxima is very different. The clutch is very good. Nice touch, not hard to move. That is the only thing that i am worried about. Now i was told the secret of driving a 5spd in traffic, which everyone can find out and yet so simple. "DRIVE SMOOTHLY"

I have more pics of Jason driving the max on the Mass turnpike, I95. And some pics of the max at a rest stop.

A stalker wouldn't of mentioned that he went to see your car. I was just thinking that I was in the area and that I would check it out. I have a VE also no need to get yours, you should probably be more careful with Joe

thanks. yep now she has 117095 miles on her. man drove her around tonight for a minute, joe drove her too, he almost killed my clutch, he was revving up and realsing it slowly and riding the clutch. i could have sworn i smelled burnt clutch as i left the garage. BTW i didnt stall out at all. i even shifted with the quickness from 1st to second. i almost snapped joes neck back.

did not.. most of the time i just had my foot hovering over the pedal but not pushing it in as i was makin the u-turns, then let off once im under full acceleration... i tend to do that

at least i didnt pop it like you did
