what i have done with every car is say u bought the car as a gift dl the form from dmv website and put down 100 then all u do is pay the 8.00 tax plus the fees so it comes to 25 all together trust me it works all the time. they wont ask y it is so cheap because it is an older car ig they do say the engine is blown or something. But because it is a gift they wont ask . You will need to forge the persons signature but u have it already from the title. good luck hope i am not too late

got a ticket today
damn the city is already starting.
they wrote me a ticket for not having an inspection ticket. and the temp inspection ticket is right next to the registration for the max! WTF , can i just go to the judge and tell them that i just got it registered in nyc and show pics of the temp paper? easy win? I have to contest another bull shiet ticket, for no parking. that is two tickets in 3 weeks, 6 tickets in the last 2 months

Well I had a ticket like that once and the sticker was clearly there from another car, my cousins. What I did was I took a picture of the temporary inspection next to the registration and sent it in with an explanation and they dismissed it. It should be an easy win......damn bloomberg

hehe bump.. i was just reading this old thread.. man 5 months or so almost 6. Put about 8k miles into her and about 2g's worth of mods(Pop Charger. ASP UDP. WSP Y Pipe. GreddySP Cat Back system. Sumitomo 215/60/15 . Z-MAX Hanabi 8600 H.I.D.S via 97GLES. Optima Yellow Top Battery. Rockford 801s Amp 2-12in HE2 Subs. Clifford Matrix RS3. Stillen Tie-down brace. AE 5spd Shift ****)
Regular maintaince has been done- clutch master cylinder, tires(thanks to Jay), pvc, spark plugs, and fuel filter(Thanks Diego).

Now i need to get my ACT clutch, install my fly wheel, switch over my stock suspension to my vg and install my tokicos & eibach to my ve. get new control arm bushings, motor mounts, and now sadly my engine is bleeding internally( burning oil)

so much has happend to this beloved maxima. Damn nyc traffic killing her beautiful body color. Pot Holes are killing her stiffness and making her loose, doesnt feel like the virgen i once had. People hitting my doors and my bumper as they open and closed theri doors or while they park. Kids sitting on my spoiler and bending her. Damn you NYC, damn you to heck.

ok guys.. taht just an update to what you guys already know about my max. just wanted to share

Still have to get a body kit, rims, rsb, sfc, rstb,

Now aren't you glad you didnt sell it dirt cheap? Also get the ACT + Fidanza installed close to the same time you do the suspension to save on the allignments.

I have a solution to this... baseball bat in the trunk. Just make sure its wooden and not metal. The dirtier and more gouges it has the better, the mere presence of the bat will scare them.

Aside from the RSB and SFC's, Matt can do the Control Arm Bushings, I think Matt is the only choice for a RSTB. Dont forget a Lower Tie Bar and Rear Parallel Link replacements

Wow. Tis ye olde thread.

My car is just over 9 months old and I have put 25,000 miles on it. 60-70% of them are due to my current job as the network administrator that has to drive around to every damn shop in the greater Seattle area quite often.

oh yeah!!! Izzy, I passed your car today. It looked like Jeff92SE was driving it. 92-94 SE, didnt catch if it was a 5spd or Auto, I think it had a tan leather interior though ( I like the black leather). I shot myself in the foot though because I wasnt driving my Max. Mines in my garage right now waiting for the RSB to be installed. 2nd time I was driving the Jimmy and really really wanted to be in the Max

oh what I would give for the blue.
