Hams Max

Hi...im writing to try and find out what other max drivers are getting per tank. I have owned my max for 3 years now and all of a sudden im getting 250-300 miles a tank. Do i need to clean my fuel system. Or is this normal for an older maxima ( 1991 ). Please post MPG or per tank you are getting and any info on how to get better gas mileage. Thanks!!

I get under 180 miles on a full tank. 50/50 highway/city driving. It worsened terribly in the last 3-4 months... I used to get over 300 when I just got the car in March of 2000. There can be many causes, I changed my O2 sensor hoping it would change something, it didn't.. changed the air + fuel filers, along with spark plugs too... no difference... I wish I was getting your kind of milage

I usually get about 280 mpg. I don't know what to do to raise it though.

Between 340 and 380 miles per tank, depending on my driving habits during the time.

I get 100 miles per line on the gas meter on the speedo. But i have a manual and that gets better gas mileage anyways, i used the fuel tank cleaner every now and then it helps, i think

I get at minimum 300 miles on one tank. I can typically do 340-370 miles mixed city/hwy driving, but have done 450 miles once all highway.

I used to get 400 during the summer, but now its at an all time low at around 310. I think it may have something to do with the weather. I cant wait till we have more heat!
