I'm trying to install a newer bose amp in my 90

ok all the newer bose amp's (above 90) have that little white 6 prong connection on it.. the 90's amps just have the wires soderd directly on to the amp.. by cutting thw wires off and mounting them to the teeth on the newer amp it should work with no problem right?

if you have any idea what im talking about plz reply.. (any info at all will help)

wire order from the 90 bose amp [ni+ ni- s+ b s- grd]
wire order from the "newer" bose amp [ni+ ni- b s+ s- grd]

i just switch the wire order to match right??

thanx in advance

and does it matter if i bend the hell out of the teeth cuz ill have to do that so they dont hit one another

yep, that'll work. You could desolder the connector off the board of the newer amps, and solder wires into the holes.

Is the connector on the outside of the amp that connects to the plug inside the door a different fitting to the older ones? My max is an import, and had one old amp, and 3 new ones in it (someone must have replaced one in japan) and they seem to interchange ok...

Yes like chchmax said it will work. Just be sure the s+ goes to the s+ and be sure the b goes to the b and you will be fine.
