Can anyone tell me how to fix a leak in the AC system and how to recharge it or a link to some instructions of how to do it. I just need the specifics of like where to hook up the refrigerant to get it into the system and where to apply the stuff to fix the leak. Thanks.

 

Leaks in your AC system aren't anything to be playing around with. After all, that big ol' hole in the sky just gets bigger when we let freon free-on the Earth! Have you had the system pressure tested for leaks? And if so, what were the results?

How can I tell if my compressor is shot? It's not making any sounds at all.

 

The compressor will not turn on when it is low on freon.

 

My understanding is that Freon is heavy than air. Therefore, inhaling it is very, very bad.
