Axles.. Changing them.. after a year

OK, my axles (CV) have been making sounds for almost a year (clicking when you turn.. and knocking sound when u hit bumps),
-this weekend me and a friend of mine are going to replace them.. if you have ever done this plzzz.. any info at all will help (warnings and suggestions),
- do you need any special tools*?
-i didnt buy the book yet, but im doing that later today.

this weekend im gonig to change oil flush rad. flush tranny.and replace axles.. my car is gonig to feel great! can't wait

one more thing ... half that page is for a axle overhaul, i dont need that part, right?

You cant even OWN one. The jackhammer is used for on road only to dig up the pavel.

i just baught the axles yesterday, 225 bucks.(both) at pepboys, then i get 110 back for the core charges..
-wow.. axles are big... i was sceptic about them being the right ones for my car so had them check like 5 time..

umm yes you CAN own one. you can also rent one if you wish.

they sell air driven or electic driven. both great at breaking up sidewalks and streets.

-anyway i don't think im gonig to replace the axels tommorw cuz of the weather, i hate rain.

*eff it! ill replace them in the poring rain (i need a good shower anyways)... thats a site, 2 kids getting drunk off some cheep rented beer, changing axels in the rain..... with a jackhammer
