Rear window going down without hitting the button

All of the sudden my 92 SE rear window went down. I did not press the button and even with the lock on it goes down. You can put it up, but as soon as you stop pushing the button it goes back down. I had to disconnect the damn button from the rear arm rest to keep it up. Any ideas?

I think the down position might be sticking on the switch...sounds very weird, you might want to put the switch from the opposite side and see, if it works properly then you need a new switch.
