I have made a webpage that lists all the Performance numbers for 1989-1994 GXE & SE, Auto & 5-spd. It has lots of information on it for your reference. Note: I had a hard time finding information for the Auto VE's... Sorry about that. If anyone has info on the Auto 1992-1994 SE Maxima's then please e-mail me at SkyMaxSE@aol.com. Thanks

nice work skymax, the more informative sites the better.

I notice you have listed a co. drag figure for the VG SE's of .34 over the GXE's .32. I take it the only difference is the rear spoiler?

damn that sucks about the auto ve, i'm always searching my butt off for numbers on the auto ve with no luck. hey if it helps any i've had my auto ve up to 138 mph. and i think it would have gone more. i noticed you had different numbers on the ve 5spd on the different charts....is there a reason for that?

<b>James92SE:</b> There are different #'s for the VE 5-spd because in one chart the 1992 SE 5-spd was tested and in another chart a 1993 SE 5-spd was tested. Don't ask me why they turned out to have different #'s.. That's just the way it happened. One of my theories would be the fact that the 1992 model that was used was one of the earliest models to be released (tested in late 1991). So maybe that could have been a factor. The 1993 might have been refined a little better.

Drag coefficient. Basically, it's the wind resistance and aerodynamics of the car. The lower the number, the more aerodynamic styling the car has.

but, I've seen guys catch flack off of the 0-60 and 1/4 mile time thing before.......it wasn't pretty. you need a disclaimer saying, <b>"Actual times may differ, DA-MAX is in no way responsible for your automotive short-comings!!"</b> just joking, but if anyone ever needs times you can just ask me, but I will not reveal my sources, HUHAHAHAHAHA......

Well I just updated the Specs page...

Apparently, there are people who are questioning the performance #'s... So I added a section explaining a bunch of stuff about the performance #'s.. blah blah blah.. I also added a section that explains the difference between an SE & GXE. This could be useful for those DAMN Ebay sellers who try to sell their 1992 GXE as an SE model and screw over the bidders!! Hey guys im new with the 5 spd tranny and i was wondering how i can be a "better" driver so i can acheive the fastest times?....what im trying to ask is how do u drive a 5 spd and when do i shift? like what rpm for each gear??? prob sounds stupid but im just used to floorin it and letting the car do the rest with an auto tranny. any comments would be greatly appreciated.by the way good site skymax!
