Bought a 92SE 5-speed with 76k!!

Today I picked up the black 5-speed I had looked at on saturday. She has 76k miles, and looks and drives great. I negotiated the guy down to $2900 (cracked sunroof glass, door lock timer is done). I have to wash & wax her, then begin to transfer all my mods (intake, exhaust, rims, leather interior) from my white car to the black beauty. This also means that my white car will be for sale in a few days. When the car is waxed I'll take pics and post them on my website. I am so excited!

White is better in Vegas... especially with limo tint.

I couldn't help myself....here is a preliminary picture:

Mind you, this car needs a wash / clay bar / wax. I gotta get rid of that rusted out foglight as well.If the sun ever comes out here in MA for more than an hour I can start working on her

New 1992 Maxima SE 5-Speed

What a coincidence! Today I bought a 1992 SE 5-Speed too. I got a sky blue colored one with 123k miles, but the clutch is as crisp as new, the interior is flawless, but I also am going to put the interior from my 1989 SE into this one. The VTC's were replaced under warranty on the VE, so that is good. The suspension feels great and ENGINE BRAKING KICKS AUTOTRAGIC BUTT. So anywho, yeah i got a pretty good deal, for $3k but it is higher priced up here in Boston. Looking to post some pics soon, keep your eyes open! They are coming soon.

the same thing happened to mine... if a stone cracks the fog lens, water will get in there and rust it. i didn't notice mine until it was a little too late. doesn't look as bad as that one, tho. hmmm.

I just purchased a 94 GXE (gold) with 60,000 miles. Guy across the street bought a new Caddy so I stole it 2,300.00 for a work car, it is nice... Sounds like you got a great deal also...

Re: Bought a 92SE 5-speed with 76k!!

WOW did you get lucky. ANY 3rd Gen 5-speed is hard to find, and you found a clean low mileage VE to boot!! I did a online nationwide search for 5-speeds about 6 months ago when deciding on whether to invest $1600 for a transmission/clutch job on my '90 SE (VG30E) - found TWO, and both were beat to S**T and over 150K miles. I'm turning green with envy

92 SE 5spd, with only 76k! for only $2900! sometimes i wish i would have waited and got a maxima. but what do u do when u want a car real bad, u get what u can get. and i got a 89 legend, 5spd, v6 with 170k for $2100. at least its 5spd and 4door. the maxima influenced me i guess.

18x8" SSR Integrals. These and the MAS Presidents are my favorite rims for the 3rd gen.
