no cat?

well my catalytic converter is clogged and i dont have a job or money. so... would it screw up the computer or O2 sensor if i just cut off the cat (the bolts are too rusty to remove) and clamp and a piece of pipe on there with exhaust clamps for the time being?

btw, if its against the rules to even discuss this here, im very sorry for bringing it up and feel free to lock my post.

It would work, but it would also suck. You would have trouble with emessions without a cat.

Get a job.

Your O2 sensor is mounted before your cat. It will still function normally but remember your cat is the main part for pollution control.
