91 SE 5spd 102K - engine...good, tranny...bad

110k with no major problems... just a few hose leaks.

1992 Sky blue SE 5-spd 123,500 miles puchased a week ago, vtc's were replaced under warranty when it had 54,000 miles. Installing PIAA 1500XT driving lights, Alpine 7995 head unit, hope to get Infinity Kappa's soon. I swapped the interior for the '89 into the new one as well as the grille, wheels, door panels, clock, and a few other things that work better. Wired for amps with 4gauge and monster RCA's.

1989 Silver SE Auto 120,000 miles overheated warped heads, selling as parts car. Always wanted the 5-spd VE, which I have now.

89GXE sohc 202,000 miles ,original engine and tranny
have had car since june97, still running strong

just bought 93gxe in june 2002 with 32,500 or so miles all
original miles ,have proof of milage it's real, car is mint

90SE 160K. Runnin strong!!

'89 GXE 154,990.tranny rebuilt @148k. still running pretty smooth. needs a tune up but other than that its all good.

93 GXE (SOHC) 127k miles

Bought it at 93k miles..
Runs nice and smooth, original tranny, just replaced the original struts (yay!).. needs a timing belt changed soon (last done at 76k miles).

Only problem is the driver's side key sometimes unlocks the door without deactivating the alarm.. so I usually use the keyless entry (keypad).

1991 GXE with 188,900

1992 SE (DOHC) w/ 132k and some change, running strong with the new tranny. Locks don't seem to be working, as well as column stalk switch.

1993 SE DOHC w/ 5 spd, 97,500

Question: VTCs....what is that? Everyone uses that acro, but I'm not sure what it is. Is it variable timing of some sort?

1994 GXE with 131K and running beautifully, strong tranny too.

94 SE 159,899 today. No VTC's problem, but have a nasty oil leak. Tranny on its last leg.

tranny rebuilt feb 2003@ 147000 w/shift kit
currently @ 154264 with rear manifold "issues"

Just hit the 100K mark yesterday comin' home from the beach, it was pretty cool b/c as soon as my speedo read 100mph, my odo flipped to 100k......ahh 100k..and many more to come!:D

Replaced all the manifold studs last month (had 1 broken in front and two in back)

Runs good, oil change due in another 500 miles

93 black 5spd original motor, trans - 174,000 big vtc problems , needs a knock sensor

'92 Canadian GXE with 175000km (110000miles?). Got a weird #3 injector (sometimes works well, sometimes doesn't), and a weird headlight problem (replaced the DRL module and still sometimes one low beam works, sometimes the other, sometimes both - now I'm thinking it may be the switch). Air is ice cold, shocks are due for replacement... Bought this used to replace my '88 GXE that had 215000km - rear ended three weeks ago.

94 gxe 61,000 miles no problems at all.......

215,000miles on a '92 Nissan Maxima... Its engine is in "ok" condition... with no modifications. I hope to put some in soon.

Add a couple of thousand for both.

91se totalled @ 120k in july.

93se @ 160k running strong except occasional stalling/jerking when cold.

'89 GXE 102K+ orignal motor & tranny still both running great.

201K on mine and still rocking steady. I think I am still on the original engine and tranny. However, I've been using synthetic since I got my car. So hopefully, that helps out a lot.

I have 175k on 93 VG auto with oem motor and tranny, with n2o aswell. But have many fuel upgrades. and tranny upgrades too. i love my VG runs like new and still gets 30mpg.

VE 5speed, bought may 2001 with 146,002 on the ticker, taken off the road april 2003 with 174,008.
motor/tranny have 12 miles now..need to pull tranny a second time and return for another (yay for warrentees).
major problems before i pulled the motor: VTC, vac leaks, knock sensor (turned out to be a corrosion green subharness connector), passengers side CV, struts (upgraded to GR2s and ST springs, upgraded again to tokico blues and the same ST springs), rust spot on rear quarter (leads from tire well into trunk..its real bad but not visable from the "top"), 7 manifold studs (4 on the rear, 3 on the front), clutch x2, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, low compression on rear bank (120, 125 and 130psi), tranny (whirring bearings, bad syncros....).
another month till its finally back. i cannot wait.

161k on a 93 SE 5spd.

No problems.

91 5spd se with 203,606 miles engine still original tranny just gave up in the shop as we speak both exhaust manifold shot.

93 GXE with 118,000 and still going strong!!
