Many of the roads near home are long, twisty, and poorly-lit, farm roads with plenty of deer and other critters wandering nearby. I'd feel better if the wife's car threw a little more light forward.

Are there any particular brands I should stay away from? Any I should check out in particular? Pics of placement on a GXE would be helpful along with any input.

Thanks!
Jim

Your wish....

Your wish is my command. Get NISSAN FOGS. YES...its true....nissan made a "GXE" fog for us gxe owners. Its the same as the "SE" but its thiner. FOR around 80 plus shipping you can buy the COMPLETE kit from Courtesy. That includes..Fogs, wires, relay, dash switch etc. You have to make sure you order the 69 gxe fogs(comes with wires) and then the 12 install kit. They fit perfectly...not like that pep boys look. Check out my sig pic for them. Also they use the convient h-3 bulb so you have tons of choices. I current have Hella h-3s yellow star but they are 85w vs. the stock 55w. I'm gonna switch back to 55 cuz its too much of a strain at idle in Drive. Ask any questions!

stock fog lights put out such little light, for the same amount you can buy a set of aftermarket fogs that light up the road 10 times more. wont have any problem finding ones to your taste and that look stock

i think the stock gxe and se fogs look pretty fugly. i would look at some Catz or PIAA fogs. they have some nicer looking ones that also produce better light.
