Did anyone do 0-60 tests in their maximas? I really want to know the results. I did mine with g-tech showed 8.0 first time, then 7.7 second time.

 

I have a 94 SE, and got 0-60 in less than 6.3 sec. That is good right? I'm new to this site, was wondering what other people are getting 0-60 in an automatic SE. Is this good, or bad? Any replies would be appreciated....

ok so anyone else doubting that o-60 automatic in under 6.3 seconds..........someone is being offly generous in there rounding

 

Although I feel the G-tech's can be a bit optimistic when not correctly set, I've clocked 0-60 in 5.9 secs with my 80 shot of NOS.

 

I don't know what mods you have, but that is hard to believe if your car is stock

Car and Driver tested a VE in late 91 and the best time I've heard was 6.7 which was on a stick so auto would be a little slower

look at http://www.gen3.4mg.com in the performance section for times; also, Skymax has made a page with this info too

try searching for this because its been discussed here many times before so you could find what you're looking for sincce most people will stop replying to the same post after a couple times

if your car is bone stock I highly doubt 6.3, but if you did, what mods do you have??? nitrous, interneals?? please tell us.......6.3, hmmmmmmmm.........

 

Sorry guys, the 0-60 post is pretty much accurate. Maybe my clock is fooling me, possible...but that is what I clocked it at. Its seems to be a little far fetched, but I'm going to try it again tomorrow and will post new updates on the time. Again, this is a stock Maxima...

 

do you realize that stock auto VE Maxima times are around 8.5 seconds.......that means for some reason your stock Max is shaving 2+ seconds off stock time and could edge an auto 300zxTT in a 0-60 race, HIGHLY unlikely, but I'm not calling you a liar, but its HIGHLY unlikely and it'll take some HEAVY proof to make us believe that!!! good luck..... BTW, I'm on of the forums many SKEPTICS!!!

yours is stock and auto? so where did u get ur est. form?

i still think that all those old car and driver magazines are way too generous for a stock car stock ve auto is high 7's low 8's and an auto is low 7's high 6's with stick and a good driver

 

it might be time to change the batteries in that timex stopwatch =)

 

Hey Jehmaxima, that's a sweet car! In fact, it would look exactly like my car if it were a stick and had custom wheels. I haven't seen one like mine until now with the superwhite exterior, black leather and all options. Time to put some mods on that Max. If you're near San Jose, I have a G-Tech Pro you can use to determine exactly what your 0-60 times are. I haven't G-Tech'd my Maxima yet because I'm waiting until I finish my mods first.

heh, jeremy im in the san jo area (sunnyvale), i wouldnt mind g-techin my stock gxe just for ***** and giggles...you comin to the next meet? or maybe one weekend we'll just meet up and chill or somethin... would be cool cause im wonderin what my 0-60 is with 140k on the car

 

and it was fast but i was getting mid 7 sec and i would get beaten by 4th gen maxs... i highly doubt you have 6.3 0-60 but if you do you are the max.. maybe nissan add 30 hp to your engine by accident

car and driver tested a 92 VE at 6.8 and road and track tested it at 7.1 that's with a 5 speed. when i find the link i'll post it

I heard that some reputable magazine tested the VE 5sp. and got a 6.6 out of it 0-60... Anybody know about this? At least that is what I have always thought..... Also does anyone know what a type 2 legend 2 dr. 6 sp. does 0-60? That is the car that beat me last time we went out street racing.
