Ignition Upgrade
Dunno if it's me you're talking about but to avoid me repeating the speech, all the info is on my website in the Engine section.

The Jacobs Pro-Street ignition system is what I installed in my Max and it is brilliant. But if you have a VE motor, you can forget about it since you need a distributor ignition system to incorporate this. Coil-pack type ignition systems cannot be worked on as a result.

Jacobs and MSD
I have heard good things about both Jacobs and MSD they are both used on the race track.
I installed a MDS ignition on my Jeep CJ7 because of what I learned from Team Rush a race guy out of Texas I think. He posts a lot on the http://bbs.off-road.com Jeep short wheel base forum. I would read about how every body that did his upgrade loved it so I tried it not knowing what kind of improvement to expect. The spark is supposed to be better or something.
But what I really noticed was that it lost the sluggish acceleration and will now lay rubber.
I think that his name is Aaron and e-mail address is TeamRush1-AT-excite.com
