how to remove climate control
#2
it comes out as a unit. You have to remove the stereo trim piece first. There are four screws, two above the headunit, and two below the coin tray and lighter. You should see the screws to get it out after that

That big black plastic piece needs to be removed. You need to pull the ash tray out(there will be a thing inside the ash tray that says push - push that piece down and pull the ash tray out) There is 1 or 2 screws behind that ash tray that need to be removed. Before pulling the black center console plastic piece out, you should remove the plastic piece that surrounds the shifter. This is done by simply prying it up with a screwdriver(it snaps right back in when you need to put it back on). After removing that you can proceed to remove the center console plastic piece by prying the top out with a small screwdriver and pulling the rest out with your hands(it just snaps in and out, no screws hold it except the one(s) behind the ashtray. After you're done with all of this just unplug the connectors(transmission switch, cigarette lighter, and hazard lights) and remove the center console piece. You should be able to figure it out from there. Good luck dude.
