What is that vent looking button next to the a/c button ? Is it nothing ? or does it actually do something ?

oh so it does me no good then..all well i dont have the digital controls.

 

if you mean the one to the left of the radio then that is like Jeff said for the auto climate controlled cars.

I have this on my 92 and it has a hose on the other side of it and I think there is a wire on it too.

but yeah its a temp sensor of some sort.
