MAF Sensor Transfer Table & Wiring

Can anyone tell me what each of the 5 circuits are for that connect to the MAF? I'm primarily interested in which ones are 12v+, Signal, and Ground. Wire color or A-E identification would suffice.

Also wondering if anyone has the transfer table for this MAF - i.e. voltage outputs scaled to flow across the full curve. If it matters, this one has the following JECS ID sticker on the case:
22680 16V00 A36-000 N60

Thanks,

Brad

the connections are listed in the service manual... I don't have mine with me, but there's also a chilton's online that you can use.. it should have them listed also..

btw.. there's actually only 4 wires on it. the 5th doesn't go to anything- maybe a second ground or something.

Hmm someone wants to use a Maxima MAF to convert the Ford's XR4TI to mass air? Hope it works out!

I guess you figured that one out! Actually, I'm already successfully running a Subaru MAF, which is physically identical to the one used on the Max. However, I'm hoping that the transfer curve for the MAF used on the Maxima is a bit flatter, since I'm pegging the Subaru one at 5V.

Worse case, if nobody has the transfer curve, I'll do it the red-neck way and get out the leaf blower.

If anyone can point me to a site with the pin info, that would be great.

The table you want is probably in the Nissan FSM but this might help

Ever consider using a Ford Mustang/Cobra maf?

Thanks Jeff. That tells me that the signal line is "B" - one piece of the puzzle unraveled any way.

I considered using a Cobra MAF, but from a packaging standpoint, the JECS MAF works out real well for me. Besides, I tend to like to do off-the-wall stuff that nobody else has done.

Still trying to determine what the other 3 circuits are beside "B", which I know is the signal. Does this MAF get a 5 or 12V feed?

Any input or links to a schematic appreciated.
