That price is pretty much what they sell them for all the time.

http://www.suspensionmax.com/ST_STRUTS.htm

It worries me that they charge $38 for each strut, front or back. The rears should be inserts and the front are USUALLY sold as complete units. They list seperate part numbers for front left and front right which makes it seem like they are selling complete units for the front. But the rear inserts are the same price? Just sounds fishy to me.

This is all the info listed on SpringTech web site abbout their struts...

SPRINGTECH SUSPENSION STRUTS ARE ENGINEERED AND DESIGNED FOR THE ENTHUSIAST DEMANDING A SMOOTH WELL HANDLING CAR. THESE STRUTS WILL WORK WITH STOCK AND LOWERED VEHICLES. THEY ARE SPORT VALVED, SO YOU WILL NOTICE A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN RIDE QUALITY AND VEHICLE CONTROL. THESE STRUTS ARE GAS CHARGED TO ELIMINATE FADE UNDER EXTREME DRIVING CONDITIONS. ST HAS DESIGNED EACH STRUT TO BE A DIRECT BOLT ON TO YOUR VEHICLE.

Unless someone else come forward and gushes about how wonderful these are I would say RUN!!!! RUN FAST!!!! RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Well... I guess I'm coming forward and gushing about how wonderful these are. I bought the whole set just about a month ago (when you call, talk to Ryan - he's pretty helpful). I've had an opportunity to take them on a long-distance run (North Dakota to Illinois) as well as city driving. I'd say that the ride is comparable to Tokicos (of which I've had a set).

My current setup includes ST struts front and rear combined with Sprint (1.8") springs.
I really gotta post those pics...

So what's the scoup on the pricing? Are the fronts complete units? Are the backs inserts? Why are they priced the same?

Fronts are the complete, big-@$$ units. The rears are just the inserts. Both include the mounting nut, spacers, and instructions. I couldn't tell ya why they are priced the same for the fronts and rears, but that's what sold me. And I figured I'd be a guinea pig and try 'em out.

One thing to note, ST is really helpful when it comes to helping out with missing parts. I was missing all the hardware for my fronts, and one quick call solved that noize!

Thanks for the info. I may just have to go with the same combo. Do you have any photos of your car with the combo on it?

Thanks again for the help
