removing the side moldings

I removed the side moldings from my 92 GXE and I'm now left with a double sided adhesive tape that is very difficult to get rid of. I've seen other Maximas with the side moldings removed and I'm wondering how the heck they got the tape off. Can anyone help?

Well Scott... there's a number of ways I've heard other peeps doing this - Goo Gone immediately comes to mind.

Scottp,

Check my website. I used Goo-Gone and this little plastic scraping tool that made the job easier. It's a chore, so set aside some time and take care not to scratch the paint.
