Any way to test a MAFS?

I've been trying to find someone in the Seattle, WA area to swap out my MAFS with their good one to see if that is causing the stuttering/stalling problem with my 92 SE to no avail. At this point, the MAFS is one of the few things I have yet to test. I was thinking of ordering one from Schucks, replacing it and, if it isn't the problem, returning it. I did this with the knock sensor and they didn't squawk, but a MAFS is a bit more spendy. Besides doing this, is there a way to test a MAFS to see if it is broken/defective/etc. I'm getting desperate. This problem has lingered for over 8 months and I have tried just about everything. Thanks.

Hi,

I'm in the Seattle area. However, I would check out http://www.nwmaxima.com for another Northwest Maxima forum.

Plus, the stuttering and stalling problem could be related to a fault in your vacuum lines and system. It was for me when I pulled off my TB (cleaning) and broke the seal. Used one for an SR20DE motor and it works fine.
