max sighting in an old school advertisement

this weekend, i was messing around with an old projector. all i had to test the picture was an old vcr. in the vcr, there was a tape of the winter 1992 olympics.

i get a kick out of old commercials, so i watched a few. i found an old goodyear ad. it was right when they introduced the aquatread tire. some of you may remember it.

the tire "morphed" out of a puddle of water on the road. well, when the tire fully morphed, i noticed that the rim on the tire was the 92-94 gxe rim. the nissan logo on the centercap wasnt there. but it was definetley the wheel. then they showed the wheel on the car and it was a 92-94 pearl white gxe. the shots were a little blurry to hide the car and focis on the wheel, but you could still tell.

big up to 3rd gens.

thanks.. i tend to direct my efforts into keeping the car clean rather than mods. partly because its an expensive hobby.
