Mods

I have a 1992 max with a stillen intake and clear corners and some other misc. stuff. I was just wondering what everyone would suggest for me to do next to my car.

Re: Mods

Front and rear strut braces, Suspension technique sway bars, Axxis metal master pads, stainless steel brake lines (new brake fluid too ), warpspeed subframe connectors. That is what I'd recommend.

i got this as my second "mod" to my max. gives me a wider view behind me plus i like how it looks only setback is that you lose the ability to use the dimming effect of the stock mirror. people might consider this ricey though.

if you do get this mirror, don't get any bigger than 270mm. there's a 300mm version available but the sun visors will hit them.

I've always said

Since we have butter like suspension from the factory a full suspension mod are the best when it comes to our Max. It's up to you, but if you can buy all needed susp mods slowly over time and install them at the same time you'll be for months to come, it will probably satisfy your mod craving.

i hope that was sarcastic since there is another thread running at the same time about shaving the antena on the car.
but if youre not..............shaving is removing any item that would otherwise clutter the smooth lines of a car.
examples would be:

in this picture no door handles, no side molding( ie shaved)

in this pic the trunk filler piece is shaved

have fun

I hate seeing these kind of threads for a couple of reasons:

1. The person asking the question usually hasn't done any kind of searching and/or research into what mods work best, etc...
2. The same person almost always gets flamed something royally as a result of #1 above.
3. Some mod will not only envoke #2, but remind the offender of #1 and subsequently lock the thread....

We'll see just how far this one goes.
(oh, and btw...IBTL)

If you shave off the antenna, how would you get clear radio signals?

Speaking of ricer mods. You know the light that opens up when you open doors. Do you think it would be a good idea to replace it with a blue light. The car doesn't feel like mines yet.

Are there any mods that will increase gas millage and give the car more pep?

up to you if you want to put blue lights in there. again it's your car. our opinions on here are pretty much worthless since the final decision rests on you.

get a y-pipe, like mentioned above, you will see some nice gains there.
