Well my 90 max GXE was giving me some probs whenever she would shift gears...I would feel a knock, like it was shifting really hard... I thought, crap my tranny is about to go out on me, so I took her to the tranny place, told 'em to flush out the fluid, etc.

$132 later, they told me, the reason you are feeling a knock is because the front motor mount is broken, that feeling is the engine slamming against my hood. The mechanic showed me, and sure enough my motor bucked up about 4 inches when he throttled it hard enough.

So anyway I gotta spend another $150 to get a new mount.

No point in this just sharing.

Did your mechanic check........

the ENTIRE mount......sometimes its just the connector bolt in the mount that has to be replaced, I'd buy the mount and KEEP the reciept cause if its only the connector bolt you can return the new one and save a lot of cash!!
