Checkout the wheels section of the for sale forum to find some good deals on wheels. I just bought 17's about two weeks ago and love them. Most people here on the org roll 17's, some have 18's and I've seen 2 or 3 with 19's (I think). Take a look at the cardomain website under members to get some good ideas. I went with 17's because my ride is a dialy driver and I didn't want to kill my ride quality. Also, I don't know what modifiactions 19's might need.

go to tirerack.com and after you login you can enter the make and model of your vehicle. Then they let you "try on" different sets of wheels to see how they will look on your car. If you have dial up it will be a little slow. You can see what a 19" wheel looks like compared to the same model 16".

FYI tirerack will only allow you to try on a max of 18's. That's one of the reasons why I don't know if you need mods for the 19's to fit.

Do 18s really kill the ride quality that much? I guess the bigger rims you get the more you can feel the bumps since the tire is smaller and doesn't absorb the shock as well. Is that right? This makes me want to keep the tiny stock rims.

Well, its all a matter of opinion. But yes the bigger the rims the more you can feel the road. That's why most daily driver's roll on 17's, unless you live in a city with pretty good roads. But, tiny stock rims are ugly.
Plus wheres the individuality in stock rims??

well stock rims are just ugly and dont grab the same since you have so much side wall that gives when turning or cornering.yea and i know that tire rack only shows up to 18s,wonder why?but im thinking 18s to be on the safe side but 19s would be good too.do any of you know anyone with 19s on the 3rd gen max?

i'll get pics soon. overdue. ya'll need to see these. my car is dropped as well. with beefed up ST front/rear SB. Stillen FSTB. Tokico blues and ST springs. handles like expensive car. when cornering hard, body of car does not slosh or "recoil" or roll back and forth. is solid and rigid but comfy.

Hey guys, since we're talking about this. I just got 17's with 215-40-17 tires, can I go up to 50 series tires or just 45? Thanks

i have 18's with all stock suspension and it rides great. just a little rougher than stock but i will trade the rougher ride anyday for the look people give u when u drive by!

and to snowman go with 45 series or else they will look way to big and the rims will look smaller
