since I'm planning to get a high stall TC this summer, I've emailed Level 10 and Protorque for some info. Level 10 sent me back some info today and they also sent me this attachment along with about the Shiftronic auto-maunal shifter:

one word....DAMNNNN!!!!.....is that like what they have in the Lexus IS300?....cuz if it is....im gettin one of those....how much are they?

yes in the way that it is a "push" button/paddle style shifter, but no in the way that it also allows you to control the valve body line pressure. it also allows you to switch between auto and manual like the "triptonic" shifters like you said that Lexus uses.......price looks to be about $1200-1500 for the unit, not sure on availability as of now, but its definently on my consideration list!

is it a completly new tranny?...or is it just a couple of alterations to a automatic tranny?

plugs right into the tranny computer!!! and wallah, probably a few adjustments and tuning and you've got a auto/manual trans like the American muscle cars can do for about $50 and price of a new shifter!

I like those. But it definitley isn't worth $1500 to me. Would this put more stress on the transmission then a regular automatic?
