new info on my troubles

i did a compression test today and all cylinders were at right under 180 psi. i put the plugs in but kept the fuel pump fuse out to keep it from running. i pulled the intake piping that goes from the turbo to the tb off. i had my brother crank the engine and when i put my hand on the intake before the tb i could feel air coming out of the intake. any ideas on what this could be?

Timming off, using the intake valves on the exhaust stroke and the exhaust valves on the intake stroke?
