I am having trouble with my front pass. door lock. It won't lock when I push the lock button, all of the other doors will though and I can hear a clicking noise from under the window button on that door. But after I lock it by hand and push the unlock button It will unlock. Has anyone had this problem or know why it will unlock, but wont lock.

 

My '90SE has the same problem. I have been told that it's a broken door lock acctuator(sp?) located inside the passenger door panel. The part costs from $148(Courtesy) to $175+(dealers). I decided to not replace it because of the cost to buy and have it installed. So for now, I simply lean over to unlock or use the key.
